Here is a simple recipe that most of my kids really like. For really picky eaters I sometimes put the vegetables and the water in the blender. They never know the difference.
Hamburger Chow Mien
1 lb. ground beef
2 cups water
1 cup rice
3 stalks celery, finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
salt and pepper to taste
Mix together all ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Some people like to sprinkle a little soy sauce on top when it is served.
