It's quiet at the moment. The only people home are Michael and me and Michael is asleep. Austin and Amanda have gone on vacation with their grandparents, Doug is on duty at the Rescue Squad and the last daycare child left a few minutes ago. I'm sitting on the front porch enjoying the breeze and the quiet, a cup of coffee next to me.
Earlier today Doug and Michael and I went shopping. Now the cupboards are welled stocked with food for the week and our craft supplies are replenished. We bought ink for the printer after being out for over a week so this afternoon I was able to get our papers ready for the week. The letter Xx is our focus this week.
Amanda and Austin called this afternoon and they are having a wonderful time. Michael was thrilled to get to talk to them on the phone but cried when the call was over. He loves his big brother and sister so much.
And now I'm going to enjoy a couple hours of relaxing before I go to bed and get some rest so I'll be ready to start a busy day tomorrow.
